One of the major professional services organisations is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their existing teams in Melbourne or Sydney. This leading team work across a variety of disciplines within this sector but are particularly interested in complimenting their teams with applicants holding experience of assurance in regards to the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2008.
The teams currently hold a diverse mix of inspirational and committed consultants across a number of levels, and this could provide the exciting stepping stone in your career that you are seeking. This is coupled with the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects with capabilities in engineering, finance and law.
Responsibilities will be varied but will focus on working with clients to understand and respond to changing environmental and social challenges that clients may meet, allowing them to deal with the risks involved with efforts to reduce the impact of climate change, and specifically global greenhouse emissions.
In order to be considered for this position applicants must hold the following attributes:
- Experience in leading assurance engagements in relation to the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2008
- Excellent client facing and relationship management skills
- 5 years experience working with clients in the energy or resources sector
- Chartered accounting or equivalent qualifications with additional engineering/science focused qualifications
