One of the busiest contractors in Canberra is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their professional team of experienced engineers and field staff.  They have been operating for 35 years and are a leading medium sized civil contractor who has a substantial fleet of earth-moving equipment.  Their core areas of expertise are: road construction, major earthworks and associated infrastructure and Industrial/residential subdivisions.

 

In the role of Project Manager, you will directly contribute to the businesses success by managing the delivery of projects following the accredited Integrated Management System from planning, through execution and handover. You will be responsible for managing the project team and subcontractors, whilst ensuring to exceed budget financials and client requests. 

 

The successful candidate will have extensive civil project management experience (preferably with a main contractor), exceptional time management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong sense of commercial acumen, diplomatic problem solving skills and working knowledge of an Integrated Management System.
