Our client is an industry leader in providing EPCM services to a range of industries both locally and internationally. With the growth in size and complexity of resource projects, our client has the skills, experience and resources to ensure they are always staying ahead of their competitors in providing comprehensive services. 


They currently require the services of a  Planning Engineer  with experience in project planning, scheduling and executing work on major projects on site in Collie or Bunbury on either a Drive In Drive Out / Site Based basis.


Position Accountabilities (but not limited to):

• Setting up multi-level schedules used for Project, Studies and Bids.
• Updating of schedules and reporting progress against baseline.
• Resource allocation and reporting of utilisation against baseline.
• Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly report input as required.
• Generation of S-Curves, Productivity assessment and progress monitoring.
• Provide input to and incorporation of scope changes and trends into the schedule.

The successful candidate MUST have: 

• Min 2-3 yrs Project Planning experience within an EPC/EPCM environment.
• Demonstrated project planning experience within the Mining, Construction and/or Resource Sectors.
• Proven experience in the usage of Primavera P6. 
• The ability to develop an integrated plan for project work and to determine all deliverable and resource requirements.
• The ability to work accurately within time and budget constraints. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency. Applicants without valid working rights in Australia need NOT apply.
