Commercial Manager - ACT Location - Packages to $190K

Canberra

This listed organisation is one of Australia's largest and most successful building and infrastructure contractors. To date they have over 5 billion dollars worth of work in hand and are responsible for numerous landmark projects around Australia and Asia.

They currently require a Commercial Manager for a large project in Canberra.

To be successful in securing this role you will need to have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) - BSc QS preferred
  • MRICS , AAIQS or equivalent (eg MCIOB)
  • Proven track record in the cost management of large multi-million dollar projects working for a contractor
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Experience in all facets of quantity surveying and commercial management including cost planning, estimating, tender document production, executive reporting, post contract administration, claims management and high level negotiation skills
  • Team leadership abilities and experience
  • An ability to motivate themselves and others
  • An ability to command respect from industry peers
