My client is an Employer of Choice! They are a successful Global Leader within the Lighting industry. They promote a large range of Electrical Products. They have secured themselves as a leading name within the industry and have huge solid market share through Commercial and Industrial sectors. There is now a vacancy for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being the Right Hand to the Credit Manager
• manage AR Accounting team members including coaching, training, and ongoing performance managment.
• Manage and mitigate credit risk by analyzing customer annual financial reports, quarterly and regulatory filings.
• Evaluate AR module setups within SAP and recommend adjustments, training and process improvements as needed.
• Key User for SAP System
• Implement and Develop DMS system in SAP
• Manage a team of 3 fulltime clerks and 2 temporary employees
• Monthly DSO & % overdue reporting
• Reporting to all sales directors
• Create and Design new credit application
• Maintain Ledger for VIC, TAS and foreign currency accounts
• Issue 7 day, final demand and legal documents
• Associate with debt collectors and legal consultants
• Monthly forecasting
• Reporting & Presenting at various sales conferences
• Implement and Develop procedures on companies behalf
• Reconcile, calculate, report, pay all customers rebates
• General P/A Duties to the Chief Financial Officer

 CANDIDATE

The complexity of this position is High Level. You will be required to have the following experience;

• Skilled in coaching and developing direct creports and building strong team environments
• 5+ Years in a leadership/ management role' proven people management skills.
• 5+ years progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, including system responsibility experience.
• Certificate IV in Financial Services or similar
• A pro-active approach to work and the ability to think outside the square.
• The ideal candidate will not wait to be given duties but will instead continuously take initiative to ensure the smooth operation of the Finance/ Accounting area

 REWARD
